As mentioned on our homepage my name is Sammy Hinson, and I live in Whiteville NC. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in IT with an emphasis in Software Engineering. Websites, some programming, and databases are mainly what I do. I can build a website from scratch using code or use ©WordPress which is running about 30% of the internet now and growing. The advantage to word press is the short amount of time it takes to get a site up and running versus starting building from scratch, also the plugins used to manage online commerce as well as many more needs. This also keeps cost down.
We can get you going from start to finish. If you don’t have a website, domain, or any idea how to get started we handle that for you. We will purchase the domain, setup the website, make sure it is secured if you handle cards or any secure information ….such as credit apps or customer information. If you have a domain already we can use it to attach your new site to. If you are a restaurant or grill we can put your menu online and a calculator to tally up phone orders. We are not just limited to websites, other options are available.
If you need a computer application in your business to perform functions such as checkouts or inventory management from a database we can handle that as well. We would need to get some information as to the operating system you use to determine what language it is best written in or mandated to be written in. Sometimes you can make some changes to your current applications or just ‘use what you have’ if set up properly. Software engineering includes using current assets or programs to save money rather than continuously purchasing expensive software.
